Finally in Tanzania

I am finally in Tanzania!!! Our flights were cancelled on Sunday because of a mechanical problem in Dubai so we had to stay a night at a hotel in Christchurch. It also meant that we had to fly out of Auckland.

It is very humid here in Dar es Salaam and there are lots of mosquitos, so we had to spray the whole house.

    So pleased to hear that you are there and getting settled in. Will you be able to post photos on your blog?
    I'd love to see the house - is it open and airy? Is it wood or plaster? Square or rounded?
    I bet it has lots of insect screens!
    Have you been eating beautiful tropical fruit already?
    When does school start?

    Hey Jack! Great to hear you have that big trip over. I was in Dar es Salaam in September 2001. I can just imagine you there. It is waaaayyyy different to home eh?!
